About the event
This is a small, in-person class focused on observation.
It’s a slow, hands-on session where we spend time with animals, using artmaking as a way to tune attention and get closer to what’s actually happening.
Before you register: Level Two is open to anyone who has already taken our Intro to Observational Drawing with Horses class, or who has recent experience working with horses independently.
Because we’ll be at liberty in the pasture, you should be comfortable reading basic horse body language and safely moving around horses without close supervision. Our first class gives you the foundation we need to be able to offer a lot more freedom in Level Two!
What Level Two is all about:
Level Two zooms out from the individual horse and looks at horses as an expression of the landscapes they evolved in.

Noticing Class Ticket
Includes one 3-hour Noticing class session. Bring your own materials if you’d like, or we have lots you’re welcome to borrow. Bring water and dress in layers for the weather. You really can’t be too prepared in Alberta! Refund Policy: Tickets are non-refundable, but if you can’t attend, please let me know as soon as possible. I can transfer you to another date if space allows, or you’re welcome to pass your spot along to someone else.
