About the event

This is a small, in-person class focused on observation.

It’s a slow, hands-on session where we spend time with animals, using artmaking as a way to tune attention and get closer to what’s actually happening.


What this is about:


The world we’re expected to live in right now is organized around speed. Because of that, a lot of us don’t get many chances to spend time with living things in a sustained way.

The natural world doesn’t operate at that pace, and that absence shows up in our lives in ways we don’t always notice.

  • Noticing Class Ticket

    Includes one 3-hour Noticing class session. No experience needed. Bring your own materials if you’d like, or we have lots you’re welcome to borrow. Bring water and dress in layers for the weather. You really can’t be too prepared in Alberta! Refund Policy: Tickets are non-refundable, but if you can’t attend, please let me know as soon as possible. I can transfer you to another date if space allows, or you’re welcome to pass your spot along to someone else.
