Northern Harrier Lasso Shirts!
There are endless reasons why people become obsessed with birds, particularly raptors. Many of us have had one life-changing encounter with a bird of prey; for me, it's the hovering killing machine that is the Northern Harrier. Once we notice a bird, we can learn to find evidence of them; we are let in on their secret code, or "language." Soon, we start seeing clues everywhere simply because we look for them.
Raptors are everywhere, ensuring harmony in our ecosystem as the apex predators they are. They purposefully fly up to 180km an hour, nearly in dead silence. I feel them as a protective force over the land we share, and I want to protect them back.
I have had this idea of animal clothing, acting nearly like a bootleg band shirt, hoping that if just one person wearing this is in a social setting, and somebody else says, "Cool shirt!" you could use that as a conversation starter to teach somebody how you care about birds. Or maybe that is super weird, but that is what happens in my ideal world. We don't know what we are looking for until somebody else teaches us the clues. Therefore, we don't know all we can save until we are familiar with their secret language hidden all around us.
Anyway, here is the shirt. They are printed by hand at home on 100% recycled North American polyester (They don't have that weird slippery poly feeling). As they were printed by human beings, each one is slightly different, and we hope you will allow their individual quirks to be a testament to the fact that they were hand-made.

Harrier hawks are hugely beneficial to agriculture because they are fantastic rodent control. Conversely, their habitats are most endangered because they nest on the ground and require sufficient natural grassland and marshland to survive.
